Paula “I is what I is” Deen is now a fashion designer I guess. Her product line, which currently includes a “kitchen, pantry, and home line at digital commerce company Evine Live” and includes racism as part of her personal brand will now also have a piece called “Paula Deen’s Closet.”
Apparently, one of the main questions asked on her site is “Where did you get that top?” Other questions likely include “You said how much butter?” and “WHAT?!”
On a positive note, the clothing will be at a very moderate price point- $34 to $55 for tops, and up to $60 for dresses and outerwear- and will be made for women of all sizes. The design team uses actual inspiration from her “18 feet by 20 feet” closet, by “[heading] to Deen’s home periodically” to see what she’s wearing.
“Exciting!” -extremely small group of white people.
